Google Relents: No More Hyphens in Bradford on Avon

Google has agreed to remove hyphens from the name of Bradford on Avon, a town in England that had been campaigning for this change for over 130 years.

The issue began in 1899 when Great Western Railway added dashes to its railway sign, introducing the hyphenated name. Residents say it was an unnecessary addition and have been fighting to get rid of it since then.
