Google has released an update for its Google Clock app, featuring a revamped icon design. The new design draws inspiration from Pixel Watch faces, using thick pill shapes to represent hour and minute hands. A gradient effect is now applied to the blue face, but it no longer extends to the edges of the screen.

The old Google Clock icon had a more minimalist look, with the hour and minute hands placed on a blue background that went edge-to-edge. The new design places the app's shortcuts in rounded squares, rather than the previous pill shapes.

In related news, the Pixel Magnifier app has also been updated to version 2.0.0.965719431, featuring a new icon with a thicker magnifying glass and gradient effects. This update is now available for all Android devices.
