Google Rolls Out Affordable AirTag Alternative: Pixel Tag

The Google Pixel Tag is an Android alternative to Apple's AirTag, offering users a way to track their belongings using Google's Find Hub network. This network allows users to see the location of tagged items on a map within the Find Hub app and can even ring the item if it's within Bluetooth range.

The Google Pixel Tag uses Ultra-Wideband with Bluetooth Channel Sounding for precise location data, making it easier to find lost items in tight spaces. It also has built-in alerts that notify users when they leave their tagged items behind or if an unknown tag is detected near them.

Google's Pixel Tag is priced at $29 for a single unit and $99 for a 4-pack, with a battery life of up to one year. It will be available on November 11th, offering users a more affordable alternative to Apple's AirTag.
