Google has started rolling out Android 17 QPR1 to its Pixel devices as part of the September 2026 Feature Drop and security patch. This update comes after an extended beta period, offering several interface changes across the system UI.

The volume panel now features Dynamic Color-themed translucency, with a full bottom sheet updated accordingly. The Power menu has also been refreshed, incorporating background blur, matching updates seen in the widgets picker from the initial Android 17 June release.

The system media player now sports a Material 3 carousel-based interface when multiple apps are open, showcasing a preview of other applications instead of traditional dots at the bottom. Quick Settings have gained a new bouncy animation, while a new icon in the bottom-right corner enables editing.
