Google has released an out-of-cycle update for the Pixel 11 series, which includes the Pro and Pro XL models. This update fixes critical bugs and improves performance and stability, according to the install screen message.

The update is based on the CD1A build and brings a September 2026 security patch level. The OTA update weighs in at under 100 MB and is currently being rolled out to users of these devices.

This update is not Android 17 QPR1, which is still expected in September. Several visual changes that are part of the upcoming release are not yet present in this update.
