Google Rolls Out First Update for Pixel Watch 5 with Gemini Personalization

Google has started rolling out its first software update for the Pixel Watch 5, which was launched last month. The September 2026 update brings a range of new features and improvements to the watch's operating system.

The update takes the Pixel Watch 5 from version CD5A.260611.008 with the August 5, 2026 security patch level to CP3A.260905.002, which remains based on Wear OS 7 and Android 17. The changelog is limited to software changes from the initial launch.

The update includes several new features, including Gemini Personalization, which uses data from connected Google apps such as Gmail, Calendar, Search, YouTube, and Photos to deliver personalized responses to user queries.
