Google Rolls Out Minimize Button for Gemini Chatbot Overlay
Google has started rolling out an update to its Gemini feature, which allows users to minimize the chatbot overlay and multitask on their devices. The new 'Minimize Gemini' button is similar in design to a version spotted earlier this year, with a dedicated button that stays visible throughout the conversation. This means users can open and scroll through apps while Gemini processes their prompts in the background.
The minimize function reduces the size of the overlay, collapsing it into a bubble with the Gemini logo and a box of text providing options to expand or dismiss the chatbot. However, it appears that not all users have access to this feature yet, as Google is taking a gradual approach to the rollout.
