Google Rolls Out Motion Assist Feature to Combat Motion Sickness

Google has rolled out its new Android feature, Motion Assist, which is designed to help people who experience motion sickness while traveling. This feature was previously available on iPhones under the name Vehicle Motion Cues and has been a part of iOS since September 2024.

Motion Assist works by placing dots or shapes on the screen that move in sync with the vehicle's movements, helping users align what they see with their inner ear sensations. The feature can be found in Settings > ID > All services under Personal & device safety.

While some Pixel phone users have reported seeing Motion Assist as an option, it appears to be a phased rollout from Google, so not everyone may have access to the feature yet. Users can check if they have access by following the steps outlined above.
