Google Rolls Out Preferred Source Button for News Sites
Google has introduced a new feature to help readers find their favorite news sources. The Preferred Source button allows users to mark specific publications as preferred, making it easier for them to discover and access these sites across various Google services.
The new feature is part of Google's effort to enhance user engagement and give publishers better opportunities to connect with their audiences. Publishers can embed the Preferred Source button on their websites, allowing readers to select them as favorite news sources.
Alongside this feature, Google is also rolling out personalization tools in its app. Users will be able to customize their Discover feed and daily audio briefings by specifying content preferences.
