Google Rolls Out Unified Blue Gradient Ring for Subscribers Across Android and Web
Google has introduced a new feature for its subscribers on Android and web platforms. The blue gradient ring will appear around your Account photo to indicate that you're subscribed to a paid tier.
This change replaces the previous four-color ring - red, blue, green, and yellow - used to signify Google One subscriptions. With the introduction of AI Plus, AI Pro, and AI Ultra, Google is adopting a more unified approach with a single blue gradient ring in most first-party apps.
The update also includes changes to the fullscreen menu when tapping on your Account photo. The design has become more compact, displaying your email address, profile picture, and name in a card that highlights your subscription tier.
