Google, Samsung Unveil Android XR Smart Glasses at Google I/O
Google and Samsung have unveiled their first smart glasses built for Android XR platform at Google I/O 2026. The intelligent eyewear, designed in partnership with Warby Parker and Gentle Monster, is expected to launch this fall.
The glasses will feature two styles: one from Warby Parker and another from Korean luxury brand Gentle Monster. Google previously confirmed that these Android XR smart glasses would be released in 2026.
Like other Samsung Galaxy products, the glasses will integrate heavily with Gemini, Google's AI assistant. Google and Samsung previously worked together on the Galaxy XR headset.
