Google is reportedly planning to exit China by 2027 and move its Pixel production to India and Vietnam, according to a recent report. This decision comes after the company ran a 'trial run' of this future with the production of the Pixel 11 in Vietnam, which has given Google the confidence boost it needed to make the switch.

The move will involve all Pixel products, including phones, watches, and earbuds, and is not expected to be a burden for Google as its Pixel portfolio is not sold in China. In fact, Google hopes to reach 13 million Pixel shipments by the end of 2026, an 8-10% increase from last year's numbers.

Google's decision to move production out of China comes at a time when the company is looking to push its Pixel shipment momentum and capitalize on growing demand for its products. The Pixel 11 series has received positive reviews, but it remains to be seen whether it will be enough to drive sales and meet Google's targets.
