Google Simplifies Source Addition in Gemini Notebooks Update
Google is updating its Gemini Notebooks to make it easier for users to add new sources. The latest change adds an 'Add a source to Gemini Notebook' step that automates adding new sources, eliminating the need for manual input. This feature is available for Business, Enterprise, and Education customers.
The update will also allow users to add text, links to Drive files, or generic YouTube or web URLs as sources. Before this change, users had to manually add sources one by one, which could be a time-consuming process.
Google states that the rollout of this feature started on August 6 and may take up to 15 business days for visibility. Personal Google account holders will miss out on this update.
