Google Slashes Photo Recovery Time to 30 Days

Google has recently made some changes to its Photos app, reducing the time users have to recover deleted photos from 60 days to 30 days.

This change affects all users of Google Photos and means that any pictures or videos trashed within the last 30 days will be permanently deleted unless recovered beforehand.

The move is not entirely unexpected as Android Authority reported last month that Google planned to make this change, with evidence emerging in the form of an update to the Photos support docs.
