Google Suspends Real Estate Agent's Business Profile Without Explanation
An Athens real estate agent's Google Business Profile has been suspended since April, and despite months of appeals, she still does not know why.
Marlena Bhatia said her profile disappeared suddenly in April and that anyone searching online for her business no longer sees a map location, customer reviews, or an active Google Business Profile.
Bhatia was required to verify her business to restore her page, but even after providing the requested documentation, including a video showing her office, business mail, business card, and real estate license, the suspension remains in place.
The automated response Bhatia receives states that her profile has been suspended because it does not follow Google's guidelines, but she claims to have no idea which guideline she allegedly violated.
