Google Teams Up with Pokémon for Limited-Edition Fitbit Air
Google has released a special-edition Fitbit Air in collaboration with Pokémon. The limited-edition wearable is inspired by the upcoming game, Pokémon Sleep. It features a 'Sleepy Blue' band adorned with a snoozing Pikachu.
The special edition is available to preorder now for $129 and will start shipping on September 15th. This marks the first time Google has released a Fitbit Air with a special-edition band since partnering with Stephen Curry earlier this year, which cost $99 without the premium band.
Pokémon Sleep allows players to collect Pokémon around a virtual campsite while tracking their sleep stats. The game can be played on various wearables from Apple, Google, Garmin, and Samsung, but the special-edition Fitbit Air offers a unique Pikachu design and integration with Google Health data.
