Google Tests Agentic Hotel Booking in Limited US Rollout
Google has confirmed that it is testing agentic hotel booking, a feature that allows users to book hotels through its platform. The news comes from Booking Holdings CEO Glenn Fogel, who mentioned the tests on an earnings call this week.
Fogel stated that Google's agentic booking tool was being tested with a small percentage of traffic in the United States and is part of plans made last November for upcoming agentic booking tools for flights and hotels. He also acknowledged that Booking Holdings, his company, is one of the first to partner with Google on this feature.
Google has confirmed that it began testing its limited test this week but declined to provide more information, saying only that further details would be available soon.
