Google Tests Major Customization Upgrade for Pixel Phones
Google is working on a major customization upgrade for its Pixel phones, which could change the way users interact with their devices. According to Tech Advisor, the tech giant is testing new Quick Settings customization features in Android 17.
The update, discovered within the Android 17 QPR2 Beta 3 software, allows users to rearrange key interface elements like the brightness slider, media player, and custom tiles using drag-and-drop functionality across six unique layout options.
This feature is aimed at making daily phone use faster and more efficient. While it's not confirmed for official release yet, it could give users much more control over their Quick Settings than ever before.
