Google TV Freeplay Expands On-Demand Content and Live Channels
Google TV Freeplay has been revamped to include thousands of on-demand movies and shows in addition to its existing live channel lineup.
The service, which is a built-in, free, and ad-supported streaming option for Google TV devices, now boasts over 10,000 movies and TV shows from top studios like A24 and Lionsgate, including popular titles such as Lady Bird, Seventeen Again, and Hell's Kitchen.
The initial on-demand video catalog will be refreshed throughout the year, according to Google.
In addition to expanding its on-demand content, Freeplay is also increasing its live channel lineup from around 250 channels to over 300. The updated selection includes new additions such as World of Love Island, Bloomberg TV+, and The Martha Stewart Channel.
