Google TV Freeplay Expands with On-Demand Content and Live Channels
Google has updated its free streaming service, Google TV Freeplay, to allow users to choose from over 10,000 shows and movies to watch at their convenience. The service was previously limited to live channels with ads, but now includes a vast library of on-demand content.
The update brings new titles such as Lady Bird, Seventeen Again, and Hell's Kitchen, according to Google's announcement. Users can browse through the selection and pick what they want to watch, rather than being stuck to live channels.
In addition to the on-demand library, Google TV Freeplay has also expanded its live TV lineup to include more than 300 channels dedicated to news, sports, reality TV, true crime, and other genres. Some of the new channels include World of Love Island, Yahoo! Sports Network, Bloomberg TV Plus, and The Martha Stewart Channel.
Google says it plans to continue updating its Freeplay library throughout the year, making it an attractive option for those looking for free or ultra-cheap streaming services.
