Craig, a reporter for Pocket-lint based in Toronto, recently discovered that his Google TV Streamer was slowing down over time. He found that despite its impressive hardware, which includes 4GB of RAM and an upgraded quad-core processor, the device was experiencing slower app loads and more sluggish menu navigation.

Craig decided to investigate and found that clearing the cache data for all apps on the Google TV Streamer was a simple yet effective solution. He explained that cached data can build up over time, contributing to slower performance, but clearing it is a straightforward process.

To clear the cache, users must navigate to Settings > System > Storage and select Free up storage, then choose Clear cache. This will delete temporary files created by apps to help content load faster.
