Google Unleashes Voice-Enabled Features Across Popular Apps
Google has rolled out its AI-powered voice capabilities for Gmail, Docs, and Keep, making them available to all paying Google AI subscribers. The features, which were previously in beta, allow users to interact with their emails, documents, and notes using natural language.
Gmail Live enables users to search for specific information in their emails by asking questions like 'When is my kid's next school event?' and receive follow-up answers without having to switch between screens. This feature can be used on both Android and iOS devices.
Docs Live helps users organize their thoughts and structure their documents based on what they tell it, and can even draw information from other sources like Google Drive and Chat. However, this feature is currently only available on Android and iOS for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers.
Keep Live allows users to create lists and notes by speaking out loud, without having to give explicit instructions. This feature is also exclusive to Android devices for now, but is available to all Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers.
