Google Unveils AI-Driven Reporting Tools for Advertisers
Google is launching artificial intelligence (AI) reporting tools for Google Ads and Google Analytics to help advertisers perform tasks and uncover insights faster. The new dashboards will enable advertisers to see and analyze changes in Google Ads, with one for Google Analytics coming soon.
The AI-powered dashboards will also give advertisers the ability to evaluate campaign performance by providing a real-time summary explaining the 'why' behind the data. This feature is designed to make reporting intuitive and easy, as stated by Josh Moser, senior director of product management at Google in a blog post published on Monday.
The AI experiences are built on Gemini, a multimodal generative AI assistant developed by Google DeepMind. These features aim to ease repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and speed up campaign creation. The company also introduced new benchmarking tools in Google Analytics that will give advertisers access to performance metrics and compare their advertising performance with competitors.
The integration of Ask Advisor, a tool announced in May, enables advertisers to turn new insights into actionable campaign strategies. Marketers can use the tool to automate campaign setups, diagnose performance drops, generate creative assets, and build visuals of custom data using natural language commands without needing to switch between platforms.
