Google Unveils AI-Powered Image Creation Tool for Teams
Google has introduced Google Pics, an AI-powered image creation and editing tool. The new service is available to most Google Workspace enterprise users and subscribers of Google AI Pro and Ultra. It's designed for teams creating banners, posters, marketing materials, or presentation graphics.
The tool uses the Nano Banana image generation and editing model. Users can describe what kind of image they want, and Pics will generate it along with several alternatives based on the prompt. Unlike Gemini, users can select and change specific objects or captions in Pics.
Google Pics supports collaborative editing, allowing multiple people to work on the same image. It also allows users to crop images, increase their resolution to 2K or 4K, and make multiple edits at once in one prompt. The tool will work both as a standalone service and within Google Workspace.
