Google Unveils AI-Powered Image Creation Tool, Google Pics

Google has launched Google Pics, an AI-powered image creation and editing tool that integrates with Workspace apps like Slides, Docs, and Drive.

Built on the Nano Banana model, Google Pics allows users to create and edit images with features such as object isolation, targeted text-based edits, and in-image text modification without altering design.

The tool is set to roll out to Google AI Pro, Ultra subscribers, and most Workspace business customers, aiming to streamline creative tasks for work and personal use.

Google Pics competes with tools like Adobe Express and Canva but leverages AI-generated content, reflecting the growing workplace adoption of AI tools for enhanced productivity and creativity.
