Google Unveils Five New Pixel Devices with Enhanced AI Features
Google has introduced five new Pixel devices, including a foldable phone, three smartphones, and a smartwatch. The devices come equipped with an upgraded version of Gemini Intelligence software, which features various AI capabilities.
The headlining device is the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, an 8-inch foldable phone that can be folded like a book. When folded, it activates a 6.5-inch external screen made of ultra-strong ceramic cover glass.
The other devices in the Pixel 11 series include three smartphones: the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro, both with 6.3-inch screens, and the Pixel 11 Pro XL with an 8.1-inch screen. All four handsets feature a custom system-on-chip called the Tensor G6.
The Tensor G6 includes an integrated AI accelerator that offers 50% more computing power than its predecessor, as well as a faster central processing unit. This allows for on-device AI models to run up to 3.5 times faster while using less energy.
