Google Unveils Gemini 3.7 Flash: Next-Gen AI Model for Coding and Programming
Google has released Gemini 3.7 Flash, an upgraded entry-level artificial intelligence model that outperforms comparable models from Anthropic PBC and OpenAI Group PBC across nine benchmarks.
The new model excels in generating user interfaces, producing layouts that more closely align with reference images uploaded by users. It can process up to 1 million tokens worth of images, video, and text per prompt, with responses comprising up to 64,000 tokens of text.
Gemini 3.7 Flash is also adept at multi-step planning and tool calls, adapting better to roadblocks and clarifying intent when needed. The model has been tested on various tasks, including programming and answering questions about business documents, where it demonstrated significant improvements over its predecessor.
