Google Unveils Gemini Desktop App with AI Assistants at Your Fingertips
Google has released Gemini for PC and Mac, an application that aims to make it easier for users to access Google's artificial intelligence. The app is available for free download from gemini.google and allows instant access to Gemini using keyboard shortcuts. Users can press Alt+Spacebar on Windows or Option+Spacebar on macOS to invoke Gemini and ask their AI assistant questions 24/7.
The application provides the same content as the web interface, including features like creating images and videos using the Nano Banana tool. Additionally, users can drag and drop files directly into the app. The compatibility requirements for running Gemini on a PC are Windows 10 or later, while Apple Silicon chips are necessary for macOS.
