Google Unveils New Pixel Lineup with Advanced Cameras, Larger Displays
Google is set to unveil its new lineup of Pixel smartphones at the Made by Google event on August 12. The company's annual hardware event will feature the Pixel 11 series, including the standard Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL, as well as the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
The Pixel 11 is expected to be the entry-point into Google's flagship smartphone line-up, featuring a triple-camera system with a 48-megapixel primary sensor and 10MP telephoto. The phone will run on Android 17 and have a battery capacity of about 5,000 mAh.
The Pixel 11 Pro is expected to sit between the standard Pixel 11 and the larger Pixel 11 Pro XL, featuring a 6.3-inch display with an LTPO OLED panel that can adjust its refresh rate based on content. It will also have a triple-camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and 48MP periscope telephoto camera.
The company's most expensive smartphone, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, is expected to feature an internal display of about 8 inches and a 6.4-inch external cover screen. It will also have a triple-camera system with a 48-megapixel primary sensor and 10MP ultra-wide camera.
The Pixel Watch 5 is also expected to be unveiled at the event, featuring an LTPO AMOLED display with variable refresh rate and higher brightness. The watch will run on Qualcomm's SW5100 platform and have 3 GB of RAM, up from 2 GB on the previous generation.
