Google Unveils Pixel 11 Lineup with Redesigned Cameras and Improved AI
Google announced its Pixel 11 lineup, which includes four new phones: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The new devices feature a redesigned camera bar with an ambient light feature called HiLight, exclusive to the Pro models.
The Pixel 11 series is powered by Google's Tensor G6 chip, which provides a 50% increase in TPU compute compared to its predecessor. This improvement enables faster computational photography and quicker Night Sight captures. The Titan M3 security coprocessor also ships alongside it, using post-quantum cryptography and meeting the same certification standard used for SIM and bank cards.
The displays on the new devices have received brightness bumps, with the standard Pixel 11 featuring a 3,000-nit Actua panel, while the Pro and Pro XL step up to a 3,600-nit Super Actua display. All four phones launch with 256GB as the base storage tier, ending the 128GB option that shipped on last year's entry-level models.
The Pixel Watch 5 was also announced, which leans heavily into health tracking features, including blood pressure patterns and insulin resistance trends over time, alongside continued AFib detection, stress tracking, and SpO2/breathing-rate monitoring.
