Google Unveils Pixel 11 Series with Improved Cameras and Faster Charging
Google's Pixel 11 series has been unveiled at its Made by Google event in New York City. The lineup includes the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, with prices starting from approximately AED 3,305 ($900).
The new devices are powered by Google's Tensor G6 chipset, which offers a 20% increase in power efficiency, 25% faster browsing, and 15% faster app loading. The camera improvements are thanks to an improved imaging signal processor on the chip and a 50% more powerful tensor processing unit.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is now 10% lighter and 1mm thinner than its predecessor, with slimmer bezels around the screen. It maintains its IP68 dust- and water-resistance rating but has a new glass-fibre composite back cover that Google claims is 'nearly impossible to crack.'
The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL have been upgraded to 25-watt wireless charging speeds for faster Qi2 charging, while the main camera on these devices now uses a new 50-megapixel sensor. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL also feature HiLight, a glowing LED on the back that lights up when you talk to Gemini.
