Google Unveils Pixel Phone Lineup with Enhanced AI Features
Google has unveiled its latest lineup of Pixel phones, boasting slimmer cameras and enhanced artificial intelligence features. The search giant hopes to entice users to upgrade with these improvements, which include a powerful zoom, automatic photo and video capture, and improved light sensitivity.
The new Pixel 11 series starts at $900 for the base model, with prices increasing to $1,100 and $1,300 for the Pro and Pro XL models, respectively. The company has eliminated the lower-priced option from last year's lineup, which started at $800.
Andrew Cornwall, a senior analyst at Forrester, notes that Google continues to prioritize software features, particularly around AI, as the main reason to upgrade. This aligns with the company's strategy of adding more AI capabilities to its Pixel phones since 2023.
