Google Unveils TPUv8 with Boosted Performance and Enhanced Security

Google has unveiled its latest Tensor Processing Unit (TPU), TPUv8, at the Hot Chips 2026 conference. The new TPU is designed to accelerate machine learning and AI workloads. The TPUv8 boasts a significant performance boost over its predecessor, TPUv3.
