Google Unveils Voice-Powered Features Across Workspace Products
Google has rolled out three voice-activated features across its Workspace products in an effort to boost productivity. The new capabilities, powered by Gemini Audio models, are available now for Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers. Gmail Live allows users to search their email using conversational commands, such as 'What's my flight's gate number?'
Docs Live enables voice interaction for creating documents, with the system organizing spoken thoughts into structured text. The feature can pull information from various sources, including Gmail, Drive, Chat, and the web, with user permission.
Keep Live converts spoken ideas into organized notes and lists without requiring typing. These features are designed to help users move quickly from initial concept to first draft using voice commands. Google says the voice features will become available to Google Workspace business customers at a later date.
