Google Updates Android Security Features

Google has released its latest system updates for Android-related devices in August 2026. The company's new features include improved detection accuracy for potentially harmful apps by Google Play Protect on both PC and Android.

The updates also bring various improvements to the 'Google System Services' app, including new developer features to support utilities-related processes within apps on Android.

These updates will be rolled out with the 'Google Play services' app v26.33 and the 'Google Play Store' app v52.9.
