Google has expanded its Wallet feature to include kid-friendly accounts, allowing parents to manage and monitor their children's spending. With this new addition, account managers can set up balances, transfer funds, and even lock down payment options on lost or stolen devices. The tool also includes daily spending limits and purchase notifications.

The Kid and Teen user accounts are connected to the parent's profile and allow for tap-to-pay transactions using Android and Wear OS devices anywhere Google Pay is accepted. This feature works in conjunction with existing parental controls within Google's Family Link, which aims to reduce screen time for children.

Google has been rolling out upgrades and expansions to its Wallet feature over the past month, including on-screen flight updates for linked boarding passes and live delivery tracking. These new features aim to make managing finances and transactions easier and more convenient for users.
