Google Wallet has introduced a new feature that allows parents to set up supervised balances for kids and teens under the age of 18, without requiring a bank account.

This digital allowance enables children to learn financial lessons in a 'digital-first way' as described by Google.

The feature includes spending limits, transaction tracking, and notifications for purchases made through Family Link.

Parents can also remotely lock their child's balance if needed, providing an added layer of security.
