Google's Dreambeans App Now Free for All Users
Google's Dreambeans app is now free to all users after initially being available only to subscribers of Google AI Ultra and AI Pro. The app uses artificial intelligence to create personalized illustrated life suggestions based on a user's interests, drawing from their data across various Google services.
The app synthesizes data from Gmail, Calendar, Photos, YouTube, and Search history to produce a new batch of stories or 'beans' every morning. Each story features AI-generated imagery created by Google's Nano Banana 2 image generator.
For example, if a user is planning a foreign getaway with their mother based on their search history, the app may suggest restaurant picks in that location and recommend menus and scenic views.
Users can provide feedback to improve future suggestions by tapping the 'thumbs down' button on any story. This opens a chat where they can provide feedback, which is then processed overnight and reflected in subsequent stories.
