Google's Fitness Tracker Seemingly Emerges at FCC, Powered by Wear OS
A mysterious Google device has surfaced at the FCC, and it's believed to be a Wear OS-powered fitness tracker. This comes after a similar device appeared in Pixel 11 ads back in August, sparking speculation that it was an intentional leak.
The new device is marked as a 'Wireless Device' from Goertek, a company known for manufacturing various generations of Pixel Buds. The model name 'G8BL6' matches Google's usual pattern for hardware.
The e-label on the device points to the existence of a screen, and the menu seems to be the same as the one found on the Pixel Watch. This further confirms that the device is powered by Wear OS.
