Google's Hefty Price Tag for Pixel 11 Pro XL May Not Be Worth It

The Google Pixel 11 Pro XL is a premium smartphone that boasts an excellent high-resolution display, excellent triple cameras, solid battery life, and slick Android software with seven years of updates.

However, it comes with a hefty price tag, starting at £1279/$1299, which is the highest ever price for a non-folding Pixel. This price rise is especially frustrating given that Google now only offers 12GB RAM for the price, instead of 16GB last year.

The phone has an upgraded Tensor G6 chipset and a slightly different camera bar design compared to its predecessors. It also features a new 50MP main camera sensor and an upgraded 5x telephoto lens. The device's large 6.8-inch OLED screen is bright and sharp, but it may be too big for some users, making it difficult to use with one hand.

While the Pixel 11 Pro XL is a great option for those who want a big-screen Google phone, especially for those with a Pixel 8 or older, it doesn't quite knock it out of the park. The device's build quality is top-notch, but it's also heavy and may not be suitable for everyone.
