Google's Magic Capture Brings AI-Powered Photography to Pixel 11

The Pixel 11's Magic Capture camera mode is a useful feature that uses AI to analyze video clips and pull out the best stills. This feature can be accessed by tapping the Magic Capture button in the camera app, which will start recording a two-minute video clip. The onboard AI will then analyze each frame of the video and select the most suitable photos, which will be automatically added to the camera reel.

The only limitations on using Magic Capture are that you can't capture more than two minutes of video at a time, and there is a hard limit of five photos per clip. The AI analysis relies on an internet connection, so if you want all five photos from a single clip, you'll need to connect to Wi-Fi or cellular data.

Despite these limitations, Magic Capture has been found useful for capturing stills of moving targets, such as pets or children. However, it's not a miracle worker and may produce blurry or low-resolution images in some cases.
