Google's Moceri Drives AI-Powered Procurement Revolution
Jennifer Moceri is the Vice President of Global Procurement & Chief Procurement Officer at Google, where she's leading the company's effort to create an AI-native sourcing ecosystem. Moceri has over 25 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, having worked across various industries including automotive and food and beverage.
Under her leadership, Google has made significant strides in increasing diversity among its suppliers. In 2019, the company established a centralized procurement function, which Moceri led. In 2021, Google exceeded its goal of spending US$1 billion with diverse-owned suppliers, reaching US$1.5 billion, and then reached US$2.5 billion in 2022.
Moceri's team has also introduced initiatives such as the Google Truck Digital Excellence Programme, which has supported over 425 diverse-owned business leaders and granted US$750,000 in scholarships. Her mission is to break the mold of traditional operations by creating an agentic, AI-native ecosystem.
