Google's Pikachu-Powered Fitbit Band: A Sleep-Tracking Gaming Twist

Google has introduced a special edition of its Fitbit Air fitness band in collaboration with Pokémon. The limited-edition Sleepy Blue band features a dozing Pikachu design and is priced at $129.99, which is approximately $31 more than the standard Fitbit Air.

The band tracks sleep data, which is then used to generate 'Drowsy Power' in-game currency for Pokémon Sleep. This means that the better you sleep, the stronger your character will be when you wake up and play the game.

However, it's worth noting that the integration of Pokémon Sleep with Fitbit Air doesn't live in the hardware itself. Instead, it uses the Android Health Connect or Apple Health pipeline to sync data from any compatible Fitbit device or Google Pixel Watch.
