Google's Pixel 11 Pro Fold: A Solid Iterative Update
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is the latest foldable from Google, and it's an iterative update to its predecessor. The design has been slightly thinned out, with a weight reduction of 19g, but this was achieved by decreasing the battery size.
Despite this compromise, the phone has received several upgrades, including the new Tensor G6 processor, which provides faster performance in daily use. Additionally, the foldable now boasts a new main camera, taking better photos in most scenarios during limited testing.
One of the standout features of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is its intelligent software. Gemini Intelligence offers a suite of decent features, while Rambler takes dictation and polishes it into structured text. Bubbles multitasking is also great, providing greater flexibility when using the inner panel.
The phone's durability has been improved, with an IP68 rating that ensures resistance to dust and water ingress. This is a significant advantage over other foldables in the U.S., such as the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Moto Razr Fold, which only have an IP48 rating.
