Google unveiled its latest foldable phone, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, which emphasizes increased durability over sleekness. The new device is priced at $1,899, a $100 price hike from last year's model due to the RAM shortage affecting the industry.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold has a more resistant glass-ceramic cover display and a redesigned hinge that protects the inner display from damage in case of drops. The phone also features an aluminum frame for added sturdiness, while weighing nearly 10% less than its predecessor.

Other key features include a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera, 10.5-megapixel ultrawide camera, and 10.8-megapixel telephoto camera on the back. The phone's battery life takes a slight hit, with a capacity of 4,806 mAh compared to last year's 5,015 mAh.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold runs on the Google Tensor G6 processor and launches with Android 17, which includes Gemini Intelligence features for easier information sharing. The phone is available in olive and obsidian colors and comes with 16GB of RAM and either 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage.
