Google's Pixel 11 Pro Fold Faces Intense Competition in the Foldable Market
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is Google's latest attempt to compete in the foldable market, but there are several alternatives worth considering. One option is the Motorola Razr Fold, which offers an 8.1-inch inner display and a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, outperforming the Pixel 11 Pro Fold's battery size.
The Razr Fold also features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, double the storage of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, and three 50MP rear cameras. However, it only offers three years of full Android OS upgrades, which may be a concern for some buyers.
Another alternative is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, which boasts a state-of-the-art design with a thickness of just 8.9mm and a weight of 215 grams. It features a 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip, and dual 50MP cameras.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra also offers multitasking software, but it lacks Qi2 magnets to achieve its thin design. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold's Qi2.2 25W charging and IP68 durability are key advantages, but overall, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is the stronger foldable on paper.
