The latest smartphones from Google have been released, and they come with higher price tags than their predecessors. The RAM shortage is to blame for the increased prices of memory and other components, according to Google.

Last year's Pixel 10 started at $799, but this year's Pixel 11 starts at $899. This is a $100 increase, which some might find steep. However, Google notes that it has doubled the storage capacity from 128GB to 256GB.

The Pixel 11 Pro and 11 Pro XL have also seen price hikes, with the starting prices now at $1,099 and $1,299 respectively. The top-of-the-line Pixel 11 Pro Fold starts at $1,899.
