Google's Pixel Watch Needs to Focus on What Matters Most
Google's Pixel Watch 5 has been praised for its impressive features and performance. However, despite its excellent design, Jon Gilbert, a Features Writer for Android Police, reveals that he still doesn't need one.
Gilbert explains that his problem isn't specifically with the Pixel Watch 5 but rather with smartwatches in general. He believes that Google should focus on creating a practical smartwatch that focuses on the essential Pixel experience, rather than just adding more features.
He points out that the Pixel A-series has been successful in doing exactly this, by trimming unnecessary features and embracing practical design. Gilbert suggests that Google could bring down the price of the Pixel Watch to $250 by following a similar approach.
