Plans have been submitted to transform part of Greenock's former IBM site into a data centre.
The proposal involves the Spango Valley site, located off Inverkip Road. Slate Island Developments has applied for Planning Permission in Principle from Inverclyde Council.
The former IBM facility was operational from 1954 until its closure in 2017. Demolition of the buildings occurred in 2020.
