Growth Pains: Radiation Caterpillar Crawls onto Xbox Consoles
Radiation Caterpillar, a physics puzzle-platformer game, has arrived on Xbox consoles. The game, developed by Sharkgame and published by Brainium Games, challenges players to navigate increasingly demanding levels as an alien caterpillar that requires radiation to survive and grow.
Collecting radioactive elements allows the caterpillar to become stronger and larger, but this growth can also make navigating the environment more difficult. Narrow passages that were once easy to squeeze through may become impossible with a bigger caterpillar body, while physics interactions with the surroundings require strategic thought.
The game features 40 levels, and failure can be attributed to various factors such as getting too big, misjudging trajectories, trapping oneself, or encountering hazards like saws and spikes. With a price of £5.79 from the Xbox Store, Radiation Caterpillar has made its way to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S after being previously available on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).
